A few weeks back, I received an email from Schoolgirl Style. Since the area in which I live went distance teaching/learning, I have to admit that I didn’t create a classroom-type area in my home for when I’m teaching. My hope, of course, has always been that we would get to go back to the classroom relatively soon. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. So, receiving these items from Schoolgirl Style gave me the inspiration to start creating a classroom-like atmosphere here at home.
After leaving the traditional classroom, I placed most of my classroom items in storage. I have a few classroom items stored at home, so I worked with what I already have along with what was sent to me. I love how whimsical the paper fan looks!
I layered the printed tassels from Schoolgirl Style along with the Golden Garden Classroom Decor Bundle that I purchased a few years ago from Teachers Pay Teachers for a cute welcome sign.
I thought the lightbulb cut-out accent from Schoolgirl Style would be a fun way to draw attention to this quote I downloaded from Teachers Pay Teachers. I usually keep this quote in my teacher planner, but I like that my students will be able to see it now.
