3 Great Teacher YouTubers to Check Out!

*Disclaimer: I am not associated or affiliated with the following YouTube channels. I am only sharing this for your information and to share my experiences with these channels.

It seems that everyone has a YouTube channel these days! Even teachers have been using YouTube to share ideas! (Should I start one???) Although there seem to be a few teacher-tubers that have risen to the rank of “influencer,” I’ve discovered three channels that I think deserve more love. I hope you’ll check them out!

Susan Jones Teaching: Susan Jones is a former first grade teacher and literacy coach. Her channel is full of great ideas for the primary classroom. She provides ideas and tips for teaching literacy and math, as well as sprinkling in some fun seasonal ideas. If you teach K-2, Susan Jones will have something for you.

Teacher FYI: If you’re an upper-grade teacher, MacKenzie at Teacher FYI has some wonderful tips and ideas for working with older elementary students. Over the last year, she has focused on what she has been doing to teach effectively and keep her students engaged during distance learning. (I finally learned to use Google Jamboard because of her!) In addition to her tips and ideas, she also provides opportunities to focus on teacher self-care and work-life balance. After the year that we’ve all had, we need to remember to keep ourselves healthy in every way possible.

EdTech Classroom: EdTech Classroom has been one of my best finds on YouTube this year! Trying to learn how to use technology effectively on my own has been one of my greatest challenges. Maddie from EdTech Classroom has some amazing tutorials to help you navigate using tech with your students and for your planning and organization. I can’t begin to tell you how much of a life saver her channel has been for me this year.

As I mentioned in my disclaimer, I’m not at all affiliated with any of these channels. I truly believe that they provide excellent ideas. Who are some of your favorite teacher tubers? I’m always looking for great ideas out there! Make sure you leave a comment and share your favorites!

Until next time…Happy Teaching!
