How Are Things Going So Far?

I knew that starting a brand new job as a virtual teacher was going to be a challenge. Teaching can be hard enough without all the extra coordinating of online classes and schedules. But, my class and I are surviving; maybe even thriving.

My third-graders this year are excited and eager. Most are engaged and have a desire to participate and be heard in class. They are keeping up with their courses and attend their required live classes. None of this would be possible without setting goals.

Setting goals – for both myself and my students – has become an essential part of the success of this school year so far. I hope to share more details about how I’m deciding on goals and making plans to achieve them. For now, though, I’d like to get you started on your goal-setting journey. If you’re interested, I have a product available in my TpT store that can help you organize your thinking and set goals for your teacher life seasonally.

Even if you choose not to use my product, I hope that you are still setting goals for yourself. Please feel free to share your goals and your procedures for setting them in the comments. I can’t wait to learn from you!

Happy Teaching!
