The last two years since my last post have been a whirlwind! I have moved on from teaching virtually and have returned to teaching in person. I have spent this past school year teaching kindergarten in Catholic school. At first, I was hoping to document the experience of returning to the in-person classroom and teaching in a parochial school. However, those plans never materialized.
Although I didn’t get to share my experience teaching kindergarten in a Catholic school, I did gather information and inspiration that I’m hoping to share this year. My intention for this year is to spend more time supporting families. Parents, guardians, and grandparents come to me often asking how they can best help their young scholars. As the new school year approaches (here in California, at least), I am organizing tips and ideas for helping families with their students. I’m so excited to put all this knowledge in one place!
What are some ideas you have shared with parents over the years Leave a comment and let’s start a conversation!
Happy teaching!
